Our trainers

Monash Professional trainers provide expert knowledge and context-based practical applications. They have relevant industry qualifications and can consult on corporate-specific course development. Program delivery focuses upon the practical application of theory through our up-to-date programs.

Our selection process is stringent and trainers must be able to provide evidence of:

  • experience in and knowledge of their profession
  • a minimum four years experience as a professional trainer
  • an extensive body of knowledge in a specialist area
  • an awareness of the latest developments in their specialty area
  • their ability to enhance course curriculum
  • expertise as a "consultant"
  • strong interpersonal and presentation skills
  • a commitment to practical, "hands-on" and interactive learning methods
  • familiarity with the latest approaches to adult learning
  • a commitment to ongoing personal and professional development
  • a commitment to continuous improvement.

In addition, Monash Professional provides feedback to trainers directly from participants through an evaluation process conducted at the end of every course.  This covers their:

  • facilitation of quality discussion to stimulate thinking and interaction
  • ability to communicate
  • knowledge of their subject matter
  • presentation skills.

This feedback enables Monash Professional to be responsive in the development and continuous improvement of the services it offers.
