Courses for credit
Monash Professional recognises the importance of continuing education for professionals wishing to formalise and expand their skills. Furthermore, it has often been noted by senior management in a wide variety of industries that staff motivation to undertake further training is enhanced when such training can be articulated into University based learning.
The Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) program, run by Monash Professional at the Monash University Caulfield campus laboratory, awards students credit towards Bachelor of Computing, Bachelor of Network Computing and Master of Information Technology degrees. There will shortly be a course in Enterprise Linux offered by Monash Professional that will offer credit towards similar undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications.
Our goal in 2008 is to add further value to a range of our short courses, including Business and Critical Skills related courses, by mapping these studies toward Monash University awarded credits at both the Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels.
