Overview:
This course covers aspects of Microsoft Excel beyond building basic workbooks and deals with workbook automation and productivity features. It includes areas such as:
- workbook and worksheet consolidation and linking
- data analysis tools
- automating workbook operations using macros.

This course uses a combination of instructor presentation, and student hands-on practical exercises. You will have the opportunity to apply what they have learned in the classroom throughout the course.

This course is intended for current Microsoft Excel users who wish to extend their knowledge and skills beyond building and formatting simple workbooks.
Pre-requisites:
Completion of Course 708: Microsoft Excel 2003 – Intermediate or equivalent skills are needed to gain maximum benefit from this training course. It is assumed that you will know how to create and save a workbook, create formulas and use functions, and perform simple formatting of the data.
