Overview:
Understanding group dynamics, techniques for getting participants involved and facilitating their contribution, then guiding the meeting or workshop to conclusion are necessary skills for any project manager or business analyst. This course provides experience-based learning for project managers, team leaders and business analysts. It covers the workshop facilitation steps from planning, through preparation and setup, conducting the workshop, and follow-up after the workshop. After completing this course you will have the knowledge and confidence to effectively manage plan and conduct workshops or facilitated sessions involving the project team members, project stakeholders and project executive management, ensuring highly successful and productive outcomes
Learning Method:
This course uses a combination of instructor presentation, facilitated group discussion, practical exercises and group case study exercises. Attendees will have opportunity to put into practice what they have learnt, and will play the role of attendee as well as facilitator during the case study exercises. Each attendee will be provided with a comprehensive set of course notes.
