Overview:

Today’s world of business and commerce is exceptionally competitive and demanding. Employers in the public and private sectors depend on people who can write clearly. Effective communication with external and internal audiences is key to the health and success of all organisations. What do business writers do? They craft words into documents to persuade, inform and instruct. The scope and variety of documents they write is wide - marketing materials, communication plans, position papers, advertising copy, speeches, press releases and a host of other materials. In short, they write whatever is required.

Learning Method:

This course uses a combination of instructor presentation, and student hands-on practical exercises. Participants will have the opportunity to apply what they have learned in the classroom throughout the course.

Pre-requisites:

Before attending this course you will need a good command of the English language and an interest in putting together words to great effect. Non English speakers / writers need an equivalent IELTS overall band score 6.5 with no band below 6; writing band score minimum 7.
