Learn to Surf Weekend
Spend 2 days learning to surf or progressing your surfing whilst discovering the untouched beauty of Seal Rocks, situated 3 hours from Sydney in the warm waters of the North Coast.
With the help of 4WD vehicles and local knowledge great waves can always be found to give you the ride of your life. Seal Rocks Surf Camp borders on the Myall Lakes National Park so you can also expect to see native Australian animals in the wild!
The surf camp poolside cabana provides a great indoor/outdoor party venue with acoustic instruments and PA system for jam nights, a keg pump for beer and dance floor to bust out your best moves.
All meals are provided, including awesome BBQ feasts, buffet lunches and breakfasts so you can just kick back and enjoy an Aussie experience of a lifetime in one of the country’s most pristine surfing locations.
Trip includes:
- All Transport from Sydney Central YHA and Newcastle return
- Two nights cabin accommodation at the new Waves Surf camp, Seal Rocks
- All meals (vegetarians catered for)
- Two progressive surf lessons each day at various breaks around Seal Rocks
- All surf equipment (learner-friendly surfboards, mini mals & wetsuits)
- Pool Party night on Saturday night
What to bring:
Everything that you would normally take to the beach: sunscreen, swimmers, hat, towel, sleeping bag and some warm clothes. Please note sleeping bags can be hired at the Surfcamp.
Three pick up points:
- Bondi Junction: 8.00am (meet at 7-Eleven Shop Oxford Street corner Newland Street)
- YHA Central: 8.10am (meet at Rawson Place corner Pitt Street)
- Circular Quay: 8.15am (meet at McDonalds Loftus Street opposit the Circular Quay train station)
Departs Sydney: Friday 7th December 7.15pm
Returns to Sydney: Sunday 8th December evening
