Canberra Day Trip
Experience the unique sights on offer in Canberra
The trip includes:
- Australian War Memorial: Australia’s participation in world wars including significance of Gallipoli and the legends of ANZAC.
- Australia's National Museum: a modern, interactive experience exploring Australian culture through the three themes of land, nation and people
- Parliament House: an architectural modern masterpiece and home to Australian democracy
- National Embassies: each one unique and designed to reflect aspects of each country’s culture
- Captain Cook Memorial Jet: a 145m spire of water soaring above Lake Burley Griffin
- Mount Ainsley: 360-degree views over the garden city and surrounding mountain ranges of Canberra with wild kangaroos
Three pick up points:
- Bondi Junction: 7.50am (meet at 7-Eleven Shop Oxford Street corner Newland Street)
- YHA Central: 7.30am (meet at Rawson Place corner Pitt Street)
- Circular Quay: 7.35am (meet at McDonalds Loftus Street opposite the Circular Quay train station
