Orientation
All interns coming from overseas are invited to attend an orientation upon their arrival in Australia. Sessions are held every Friday in the Monash Professional Melbourne and Sydney offices and run for approximately one hour. The sessions are designed to provide useful information on life in Australia and helpful tips on topics such as transportation, banking, living and the workplace.
Students will be issued with a Welcome Pack and are offered the chance to meet their placement consultant.
Invitations to the Orientation Program will be sent to applicants prior to their arrival.

Mobile phones
Monash Professional can arrange phones at a discounted rate for interns who have just arrived in Australia. These phones are prepaid and have no contractual arrangements. All phones come with prepaid credit and are ready to use immediately.
Interns can choose between the MotorolaW375 (A$99) or the LGKG270 (A$59).

Phone cards
Monash Professional can arrange international phone cards at a discounted rate to interns in Australia. Phone cards are the most cost effective way to make international phone calls. Keeping in touch with friends and family back home is important while you are away. A phone card takes the hassles away allowing you to remain connected.
Cards are available with either A$10 or A$20 of credit.
