IELTS
The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is a test for students who need to demonstrate English language proficiency for study, work or immigration requirements in English-speaking countries.
There are two different modules (academic and general training) for the reading and writing components of the test, but listening and speaking tests are the same for both modules.
The Monash IELTS Centre, which sits within Monash University English Language Centre, is located in Building 73 at Clayton Campus. Tests are held twice a month and applications are accepted between 10.00am and 3.00pm Monday to Friday.
