Cambridge Work Experience Certificate
An internationally recognised certificate which further enhances the credibility of your internship program.
An internship offers students from around the globe an opportunity to add international value to their Curriculum Vitae (CV) for the benefit of their future career. It can also assist in developing communication channels in the workplace and provide the added advantage of practical experience in a work environment. An internship can also have added value by being internationally recognised with a Cambridge Certificate in Work Experience.
The University of Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) developed an assessment program that allows accredited internship placement organisations to offer the Cambridge Certificate in Work Experience. The accreditation requirements ensure that all internship placements are of the highest quality and that the intern receives the appropriate support prior to and once their internship begins. Once endorsed, providers are audited annually.
Monash Professional is accredited to provide the CIE Certificate in Work Experience. To achieve this accreditation Monash Professional had to ensure effective systems and processes were in place to provide quality internship placements, effective customer support prior to and during the internship placement, continuous company monitoring and support services whilst the intern is performing their duties.
The Cambridge Certificate in Work Experience provides an intern with recognition of their work experience by one of the world’s most renowned educational institutions. It provides recognition of language and professional skills and proficiency as required within the international workplace. It is an independently assessed report based on the presentation of workplace learning and interaction. No examinations are involved.
There are two different types of certificates which you can apply for:
- the Standard Certificate in Work Experience or
- the Advanced Certificate in Work Experience.
Each certificate has different requirements to be achieved.
