Monash Professional internships – options and categories
Option 1: Professional internships in Australia
This program features an unpaid training period of between four weeks and six months, depending on your visa. The placement is matched to your studies and area of interest. Flexibility exists in the start date, duration and the experience you wish to gain from the placement, including any requirements for obtaining academic credit.

Option 2: Professional internships outside of Australia
This program features unpaid internships in a wide range of industries and sectors, in France, Italy, Spain, Germany, China, Japan USA and UK. Available internship fields vary by location. Fundamental to your placement is your language proficiency as appropriate to the destination country.

Option 3: Hospitality internships in Australia
This program features a paid 6-12 month internship. Duties are rotated within the various departments of a hotel. A hospitality internship is open to applicants currently studying or qualified in the hospitality field.
