Submit application form and supporting documents
Include: an up-to-date CV and cover letter
Assessment of application by Monash Professional
Results emailed to applicant
Payment made by applicant
Deposit required is A$350. Payment can be by credit card or electronic transfer
Internship placement process commences
Monash Professional sources ‘best fit’ placement using application details supplied (8 weeks)
Visa forms supplied
Special program 416 visa forms supplied by Monash Professional
Host company document forwarded to applicant
Confirmation of location, supervisor’s name, company history and outline of the placement
Acceptance of internship placement and conditions outlined in Host company document
Applicant to sign and return Host company document to Monash Professional
Invoice sent for payment of remaining charges
All remaining fees and additional charges including: airport pickup, accommodation etc
Fees and charges paid
Payment of all outstanding fees and charges as defined on invoice by credit card or electronic transfer
Visa application made
For Special program 416 visas Monash Professional to coordinate application with DIAC (allow 28 days processing time)
Outcome of visa application received
In the case of Special program 416 visas Monash Professional to forward the DIAC visa outcome notification to applicant via email (visas can be approved or declined)
Travel arrangements made
Applicant arranges flights and insurance cover. Check Monash Professional service options
Flight arrival details forwarded
This applies only when airport pickup has been arranged through Monash Professional
Airport pick up by Monash Professional
Only when this additional service has been selected and paid for in advance of arrival
Orientation and pre-internship program commences
This element is arranged by Monash Professional and is a compulsory part of an internship
