Submit application form and supporting documents

Email to outbound@internships.monash.edu.au with a current CV, covering letter and signed Terms & Conditions.

Assessment of application by Monash Professional

Results emailed to applicant. Monash Professional may require the applicant to attend an interview at one of our offices or by phone.

Payment made by applicant (deposit and visa fees)

Check amount to be paid for your selected country. Credit card or electronic transfer only.

Internship placement process commences

Monash Professional sources 'best fit' placement (allow 8 -16 weeks).

Personal liability insurance

Proof of personal liability insurance cover provided to Monash Professional.

Invoice sent for payment of remaining charges

All remaining fees and additional charges paid - variable according to country and program.

Fees and charges paid

Payment of all outstanding fees and charges as defined on invoice by credit card or electronic transfer.

Visa application made

Monash Professional to provide all necessary visa documents if applicable.

Outcome of visa application received

Applicant to inform Monash Professional of the visa outcome.

Travel arrangements made

Applicant arranges flights and informs Monash Professional of departure and arrival details. Check Monash Professional service options.

Flight departure and arrival details forwarded

Monash Professional will communicate these to their partner in the destination country.

Airport pick up by Monash Professional partner

Only when this additional service has been selected and paid for in advance of arrival.

Orientation and pre-internship program commences

This compulsory element is arranged by Monash Professional and its in-country partner.
