As a student you can come to Australia on one of the following visas:

416 Special Program Visa

Internship length + 4 weeks 3 or 6 months (conditions apply)   20% of duration of visa This visa is particularly good if you are looking to combine a short refresher course in English course prior to commencing your internship.
Student Visa Duration of course of study Up to 20 hours per week during course semesters; Full time during semester and holiday periods NO* YES * Student visas are not automatically granted with the ‘Right to Work’, so Monash Professional will need to see a copy of your Student visa prior to acceptance to ensure you are eligible to undertake an internship.
