Hospitality Internships in Tokyo

Location

Tokyo is a thriving capital of economy, culture and industry. It is also one of the world’s most populous cities, with a population of over 11 million people. With great food, fashion, architecture and night life, Tokyo has something to suit everyone.

Applicant Requirements

Applicants must be aged 18 to 30 years and must have an open and flexible outlook. Applicants do not need Japanese language skills but should have a keen interest in the Japanese culture.

Length of program

Applicants must commit to placements of either 6 or 12 months.

Positions available:

  • Kitchen staff
  • Maitre D’ at an international restaurant
  • Waiter at an international café
  • Bar staff at an Australian owned hotel

Please note that we will take into account your preferred placement, however specific requests can not be guaranteed.

Program fees: A$2995 + GST

  • A guaranteed paid placement within the hospitality industry in Japan
  • Assistance finding accommodation
  • Orientation upon arrival

  • Ongoing monitoring and support

A range of support services are offered by Monash Professional and its partner in Japan, for all students undertaking an internship in Japan.

Visa Requirements

Participants in this program must be eligible for the Working Holiday Visa.
