Hospitality Internships in Italy
Location
Placements can be found in resorts and hotels across Italy. Some examples are Santa Maria di Leuca, Gallipoli and Costa de Salento. Whilst we will take into consideration your preferred location, we cannot guarantee the location.
Applicant Requirements
Participants must be between 18 and 35 years old and must be currently completing studies in tourism and hospitality.
Participants are expected to be motivated, independent, flexible and open-minded. Please note that the position offered is likely to be influenced by the applicants’ knowledge of Italian, plus previous professional experience and academic level.
Length of program
Two - six months including an optional two or four week preparatory Italian language class
Positions available include:
Room attendant, receptionist, waitperson, bartender, kitchen hand and more.
Program fees
Internship placement only A$1400 + GST
Two week Italian language course + internship placement A$2125 + GST
Four week Italian language course + internship placement A$2895 + GST
Program Inclusions:
- Preparatory language course prior to internship (if requested)
- Accommodation during the language course and during your work placement
- Three meals per day during your internship placement.
- Professional internship placement in the tourism and hospitality industry
- Living allowance of 200€ to 400€ per month
- Completion certificate
- Public Liability insurance
A range of support services are offered by Monash Professional and its partner in Italy, for all students undertaking an internship in Italy.
Visa Requirements
Participants staying in Italy for less than 90 days do not require a visa. If you would like to stay for longer than three months you should apply for a student visa.
